Terms of Service

1. Service description

Score Social is a group-chat native football prediction platform. Players create leagues, invite friends, submit score predictions, and compete on a live leaderboard. The service is operated by Score Social (“we”, “us”, or “the organiser”).

2. Eligibility

• You must be 16 years of age or older to participate. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
• You must provide accurate information when registering. One account per person is permitted.

3. Prediction submission deadlines

Each round has a per-fixture submission deadline set to the kick-off time of each match. The deadline is displayed on the picks page.

• Picks submitted after a fixture's kick-off time will not be accepted.
• It is your responsibility to submit before the deadline. Technical difficulties are not grounds for late entry.

4. Scoring and results

Scoring is automated using ESPN match result data. Points are awarded according to the scoring rules configured for each league.

• Void fixtures (postponed or cancelled matches) are excluded from correct-prediction counts and do not affect scores.
• In the event of a dispute or data error, the league owner's decision is final.
• League standings are recalculated automatically after each round is scored.

5. Account suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove any account for reasons including but not limited to:

• Providing false information at registration
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to another participant's account
• Abuse of the bug report or notification systems
• Any behaviour reasonably considered harmful to other users or the platform

6. No prize mechanics

Score Social is a fun predictions platform. There are no cash prizes, wagers, or any mechanism that triggers gambling or contest classification in any market.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available throughout each round, but we provide no uptime guarantee. The service is provided on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime or service disruption.

8. Your data rights

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from participation in Score Social shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions. Continued participation after a material change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
