How does a multi-sport league work?
Pro, Team and Enterprise organisers can select Football, NFL or NHL before fetching each gameweek’s fixtures. Each gameweek contains one sport. Points from those rounds contribute to the same season standings. The league still has a primary sport; Free and Starter use that primary sport for their gameweeks. Golf is a separate event and does not become a fourth gameweek sport.
What should you decide before the season starts?
Agree which sports the group wants to play, how often rounds will open and how many fixtures each round will contain. A larger fixture list can offer more points than a smaller one. Publishing those choices helps participants understand the season competition and avoids changing the balance midway through a season without explanation.
Football keeps its supported scoring modes. NFL and NHL rounds use home-or-away winner picks. Explain those controls when introducing a new sport rather than assuming everyone will recognise the difference.
How do you prepare a gameweek?
Select the sport in the gameweek menu before fetching fixtures. For NFL or NHL, select the appropriate preseason, regular-season or playoff phase. Review the returned games and the deadline before publishing. Fetching fixtures is not a reason to mix sports in one round: create a separate gameweek for a different sport.
Use the sports overview to compare the formats and pricing to check current plan availability. Keep the group’s scoring settings and written rules aligned with the actual round.
Which result differences matter?
An NFL game finishing tied is void for predictions. NHL picks follow the final winner, including overtime and shootouts. Football rules can include a draw where the selected scoring mode supports it. Explain each rule in the invitation to the relevant round. Do not carry a Football draw choice into an NFL or NHL winner-picks gameweek.
Where does golf fit?
Golf uses the event menu and the plan’s active-event allowance, with separate entry or draw rules and an event leaderboard. It does not add golf fixtures to a Football, NFL or NHL gameweek. Read the golf event guide before announcing a tournament.
How should you review participation?
After each round, check whether members completed their picks and understood the points. Use the recap to resolve questions. Keep scoring and fixture-count policies stable through the season, and announce deliberate future changes before people enter. A combined season table is most useful when the group understands how every sport contributes to it.
