What counts as a correct NFL pick?

A correct pick selects the official winning team in the fixture. ScoreSocial NFL gameweeks use winner picks: home or away. The confirmed result after overtime determines the winner. For example, an away-team pick is correct if the away team wins in overtime. The league’s configured winner points apply; this guide does not prescribe a new points value.

What happens if an NFL game is tied?

A final tied game is void for predictions and gives neither side winner points. Players do not submit a draw pick. A tie at the end of regulation is not settled as a void fixture while overtime remains in progress. Wait for the confirmed final status before scoring the round.

When do predictions close?

Your organiser chooses the gameweek deadline. Publish it clearly with a time zone and set it before the first selected game begins. Players should check that their entry is complete before the deadline. Do not assume that each fixture has a separate pick-lock policy simply because kickoff times differ across the week.

How should schedule changes be handled?

Before publishing a round, check the fixture dates and competition phase. If a postponement or cancellation happens later, the organiser should review and communicate the recorded fixture status. A void fixture contributes no prediction points. Do not substitute a different game after players have submitted picks without an explicit, consistent league policy and supported organiser action.

What belongs in your written rules?

Include the selected games, correct-winner points, deadline, final-tie treatment, cancellation handling and how participants can raise a scoring question. Use the same policy for everyone. Season standings combine the points awarded in its gameweeks. On Pro, Team and Enterprise that can include other sports, so agree fixture counts and points before mixing rounds.

Use the NFL organiser guide to set up the group and the NFL product page to check the supported format. These are ScoreSocial competition rules, not a substitute for the NFL’s official rules of play.
