What is an NFL prediction league?
An NFL prediction league is a group competition where each player chooses the winning team in the games selected by an organiser. ScoreSocial collects those picks before the gameweek deadline and applies the league’s scoring rules to confirmed results. Players compete in a private weekly table and a season table. This format uses team winners; it does not require drafting players or managing a fantasy roster.
How do winner picks and ties work?
Select the home or away team for each game. For example, if you pick the away team and it wins after overtime, your pick earns the configured winner points. If the official NFL result is a tie, the fixture is void for predictions and contributes no points. There is no draw pick and no exact-score requirement for NFL gameweeks.
Which NFL games can an organiser choose?
Choose preseason, regular season or playoffs, then review the returned schedule before adding fixtures. A gameweek is your group’s selected round of games. Publish only after checking the game dates and deadline, especially when games span Thursday through Monday or different time zones. Postponed and cancelled games need organiser review and must not be treated as settled losses.
How does an office NFL league stay manageable?
Share one league invite with the group and explain the winner-picks rules before the first round. Publish the deadline with a time zone, remind players where to submit, and use the weekly recap to show how their picks scored. Keep one agreed scoring policy for the season so players can compare rounds fairly. Private league access keeps the competition within the intended group.
Which plan do you need?
Choose a primary sport when you create a league. Free and Starter gameweeks use that sport. Pro, Team and Enterprise organisers can select Football, NFL or NHL before fetching a gameweek’s fixtures. Each gameweek has one sport; points from those gameweeks contribute to the same season standings. Golf remains a separate event with its own plan allowance.
